Jesus and Mary always present in Garabandal

Sacred hearts of Jesus and Mary in Garabandal

Although our Protestant brothers find devotion to the Sacred Heart a particularly difficult point, Father Congar, theologian, notes that there is no doctrinal novelty in this devotion and its biblical foundation is solid. In the Old and New Testaments, God's love for us is widely expressed and sung.

The Heart of Jesus and the Heart of Mary were present at Garabandal.

One night, in January 1962, at two o'clock in the morning, Mari Loli arrived in ecstasy at the house of Clementina, Conchita's aunt. Her purpose in going there was to present the children of Clementina with an image of the Heart of Mary to be kissed by him. This boy was a godson of Mari Loli. On July 20, 1963, Conchita had a long and impressive speech with Our Lord, in the church in the village of Garabandal. I quote two passages: "Will Russia be converted?" asked Conchita. "Yes, she will be converted and so everyone will love our hearts," replied the Lord. "Should I go to heaven?" "If you love very much and pray to our hearts ..." Jesus also told Conchita that there are now more people who love His Heart.

On November 13, 1965, Conchita tells us that "(the Blessed Virgin) said to me:" You remember what I said on the day of your patron's feast (December 8), that you would suffer a lot in Earth? Well, have confidence in us and offer your suffering generously in our hearts for the welfare of your brothers. This way, you will feel how close we are to you ... Conchita, I didn't come just because of you. I have come for all My children, so that I can bring them closer to our hearts. " After a careful reading of these passages referred to earlier in which Jesus and Mary speak from their hearts, we are led to the conclusion that they are pronounced in a climate of love, that Jesus and Mary love us so much and that they manifested themselves in Garabandal out of love in order to that can be loved in return.

They love each other so much that, Jesus and Mary say "our hearts." The two hearts are perfectly united by mutual love, the love of God and the love of men. A Father of the Church once said, "Paul's heart is the heart of Christ." If this is true for the apostle, is it not even more true for the Immaculate Mother of Jesus? The medal that Mary requested from Santa Catarina Labouré in 1830 contains on its reverse side the two united hearts of Jesus and Mary. We know from Father Rodrigo, and from Jacinta's mother (she spoke to Jaime Garcia Llorente in the presence of her daughter) that Jacinta was favored with an appearance of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in the "frame" in Garabandal. On this subject, Jacinta said: "May the Virgin Mary, forgive me, but what I will never forget is to have seen the Sacred Heart of Jesus." An unforgettable experience for the visionary, and also mentioning that "I don't speak." (He didn't speak to me). This silent vision took place just before 2 July 1961, before the first appearance of the Virgin Mary in Garabandal. Jesus pointed to His heart with his left hand, and waved His right hand Jacinta, that she would go to Him. About Jesus, Jacinta said the following, "He was the most beautiful of all men. He had a penetrating look that made me feel as if he was going deep into my soul .... "(private letters from January and February 1977.)

The fact that this apparition took place is interesting. He confirms that the events of Garabandal are intended to show men how they love us. This was clearly stated by the Virgin in the second message of 18 June 1965, "I love you very much and I do not want your condemnation." The hearts of Jesus and Mary left a deep impression on Conchita. After her last vision of Our Lady on November 13, 1965, visionary Conchita writes, "I stopped seeing (my heavenly mother and my best friend and baby Jesus) ... They left my soul full of peace and joy and with a great desire to overcome my defects and to love with all my strength the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, who love us so much. "4 This was written on December 10th, 1965.

On August 24, 1970, almost four years later, Conchita invited some young French people to repent, sacrifice and pray "to satisfy the Sacred Heart of Our Mother". Conchita's devotion to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary has borne fruit for her and made her bear witness to this even to young people her age. Conchita clearly showed that permanent impression in his soul by the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, when, in 1975, in his letter to the people of Ireland he said: "... We will always be willing to defend and honor the name of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary ... I will always be united with you in the Sacred Hearts ".

Introduction

The study of man reveals a biological basis in the worship of a loving heart, and when that loving heart is the child of God, this worship becomes a cult. Through His Heart, we are able to reach the loving and loving person of Jesus. The veneration of the Heart of Mary differs from the veneration of the Heart of Jesus. However, the veneration of her heart is comparable, as Mary has a motherly heart for all her children. Her first child, which she conceived in her womb was Jesus who was God. All others, as a result of their participation in His mystical body of the Church, are also their children. Jesus is meek and humble in heart. He says so (Matt. 11:29). He loves those who are his own and calls himself the good shepherd who gives his life for his sheep (Luke 15: 1-6); He particularly loved a rich young man (Mark 10:21); Lazarus and his sisters (John 11:05), and John the Apostle, described in the scriptures as "the disciple Jesus loved" (John 21:20). Just before His crucifixion, He said, "Whoever loves me ... I will love Him" (John 14:21). It is true that the blood that flowed from His side, pierced by a spear, came from his heart and was the symbol of his complete love for all humanity.

S. Paul and S. John understood and experienced this love spiritually. They testified. "Who will separate us from the love of Christ?" (Rom. 8:35) "He loved me and gave himself for me" (Gal 2:20). The epistles of St. John are imbued with all this love, for God, through Jesus, through all men, If the Second Vatican Council assures us that "the Virgin Mary ... associated herself with a maternal heart to her only Son" sacrifice "(Lumen Gentium, No. 58) fulfilling Simeon's prophecy" A sword will pierce your own soul "(Luke 2: 35), even more penetrating than the sword is that it still burns with love for your Son, Jesus, and for his other children, us, who have been the cause of His Passion.
